Watch The Throne: Jay-Z & Kanye West

So Dashing Diva has been hearing great things about this Supa-Album Collaboration "Watch The Throne" between Hip Hop's greatest Jay-Z and Kanye West better known as Yeezy and Hov.  Many had high expectations for the LP that was released in August.  With guest artists such as Beyonce, Frank Ocean, etc this greatly anticipated work of art has had tremendous roller coaster feedback.  Both Hov and Yeezy have competitive spirits and though their styles are different they are in fact Sweet N Sour, Hot N Spicy uniquely perfect when together!

It's awesome to see these two "brothers from other mothers" work together and not overpower each others talents and creativity. Sharing the light in creating this new music for their ever supporting fans!! With the singles HAM and OTIS being the first to be heard off the album some say the songs weren't great examples of the strength of the album.  However, both have done well on the charts!! This album has also been said to be very cocky and boastful about the material things they have in their lives. Many critics aren't impressed however, Dashing Diva listens to the album and hears two black men who have worked hard to live this American Dream especially in a country that at one point re-strand Blacks from climbing that glass ceiling ladder.   

Tearing up the stage with sold out concerts all up and down the East Coast till the end of November and then onto the West Coast in December the Duo has declared The Throne and will defend it.
